Students interested in fully realizing their leadership ability are encouraged to become members of Guttman’s Leadership Academy. With a priority given to first year students, the Leadership Academy provides a series of eight (8) workshops designed to introduce students to and engage them in meaningful conversations about applying leadership to their academic and personal lives. The workshops are presented by members of the faculty and staff and provides opportunities for students to apply their knowledge directly on campus.
Students benefit from participation by having an increase presence on campus, opportunity to expand your resume, enhancement of your professional skill set and increased awareness of leadership opportunities on and off campus.
Previous Academy Workshops have included:
Intro to Leadership, Time Management & Goal Setting, Event Planning & Management, Interpersonal Communication, Identity Development & Intersectionality; Social Identity & Personal Branding, and Ethics, Integrity & Values.
