The Information Technology Program has Articulation Agreements with the following institutions:

An Articulation Agreement is a written contract or partnership between Guttman Community College and a senior college/university that outlines agreed upon coursework that will transfer over to that particular institution. Students who complete their coursework and meet the requirements specified by the receiving institution(s) upon applying will be admitted and those completed courses will be applied towards the baccalaureate degree.

Meet Information Technology Graduates

Enmanuel Brito

Enmanuel Brito ’18 expects to graduate with a B.Tech. in Computer Systems Technology from New York City College of Technology (City Tech), CUNY, in 2020. En route to becoming a software engineer, he has worked as a Guttman Peer Mentor and a Graphic Designer at the Department of Communications at City Tech. Enmanuel was also a 2017-2018 CUNY Undergraduate Research Scholar and is a current participant in the City Tech Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP).

Marcos Fermin Lopez

Marcos Fermin ’17 was named 2016-2017 CUNY Undergraduate Research Scholar before graduating from Guttman with a 3.9 cumulative GPA. His work experience includes being a Guttman IT Tutor and a College Assistant at the Helpdesk. In the impressive role of IT Field Engineer for Solari Corp., Marcos collaborated with a team to program, develop, install, and maintain Passenger Information Systems for transportation agencies such as the MTA, LIRR, NJ Transit, Amtrak and Metro-North. He will continue his studies of Computer Science and Information Security at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY, in Fall 2019.

Learning her first web design and programming skills in the Information Technology Program at Guttman, Monica Bernal ’15 graduated with a B.S. in Technology Education from the New York City College of Technology (City Tech), CUNY in 2018. Her experience includes working as a Guttman Peer Mentor and with CUNY Tutor Corps, in addition to interning as an IT Teacher’s Assistant at Inwood Early College High School in Manhattan. Monica is currently a Founding Computer Literacy Teacher at Uncommon Schools in Brooklyn.
