Associate Professor of Economics and Business and Program Coordinator of Business Administration Dr. Sebastien Buttet holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.A. from the University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. His research interests include macroeconomics, monetary economics, and economics education. At Guttman, Dr. Buttet teaches Statistics in the First Year Experience and Economics courses in the Business Administration Program, in addition to leading Global Guttman trips to China.

Dr. Naveen Seth is Professor of Economics and Business. As Guttman Founding Faculty, he has worked on curriculum development for both the First Year Experience and the Business Administration Program. Dr. Seth holds a Ph.D. in Economics and International Business from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He earned an M.B.A. in International Business from Baruch College, CUNY, an M.A. in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, and an Honors B.A. from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, also in Economics. Dr. Seth teaches first-year Quantitative Reasoning and Statistics, as well as Economics and Business courses in the Program. His research interests lie in curriculum and pedagogy that promotes student success.
