Benefits are an important part of your total compensation package. The goal of the City University of New York is to offer comprehensive benefits that will meet both the present and future needs of our employees and their families. The Office of Human Resources is responsible for the coordination and administration of the core and voluntary employee benefits including, but not limited to, medical, vision, dental, prescription, retirement, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Commuter Benefits, and tax-deferred annuities (TDA). The administration of all medical leaves of absences and workers compensation is also managed within our department. Our Office acts as a liaison between the Guttman campus, the vendors and CUNY’s University Benefits Office. Furthermore, it ensures that all processes are administered in accordance with all applicable state, local and federal laws and regulations, policies and procedures and collective bargaining agreements.

As an institution within the City University of New York, Guttman Community College prides itself on the expansive benefits offerings our employees receive. Depending upon your role, you are eligible for a specific benefit program.
