Guttman Community College exemplifies CUNY’s long-standing commitment to promoting voter participation. The Voter Registration and Empowerment Initiative creates and implements a plan each year to ensure that all students, faculty, and staff at Guttman Community College receive information about voter registration, voter rights, and the poll worker initiative.
We strive to empower the Guttman Community to take advantage of the right to vote, to use one’s voice, and to vote regularly.
General Election Day: November 7, 2023
Last day to register to vote in person: October 28, 2023
Applications to register by mail must be received by October 28, 2023
Check with your local Board of Elections if you are unsure of the voting hours.
How to register…it’s simpler than you think!
Step 1: Log into CUNYfirst
Step 2: Click NYS Voter Registration Form
Step 3: Fill out the form (Note: Most of the required information is automatically filled out for you.)
Step 4: Confirm that you read, and then swear to the affidavit
Step 5: Click Agree to register to vote
