Samantha Ruiz-Correa

My name is Samantha Ruiz-Correa, and I am proud to serve as your 2023-2024 Student Government Association President. A little bit about me is that I love to read, help, and learn. This year I hope to get to know all of you Grizzlies. As a Guttman student, I have met wonderful faculty and staff who influenced the way I want to lead as president of SGA. I want to meet all of your expectations, connect, and advocate for your needs as a student.

Jahsiah Montrevil

What’s up my grizzly fam? I’m Jahsiah AKA Jay. I’m honored to serve as Vice President for your 2023-24 SGA board. My goal this year is to connect with as many of you as I can and help ensure you have the best college experience possible.  Less than 6 months ago, I found myself lost and unsure about a lot of stuff. Through the Student Life Office and great advisors, I managed to turn myself around and turn what used to be a dreaded 5 hours a day I’d spend on campus into something I now look forward to. I’m a positive beacon who wishes to share his joy with others. We’re going to be here regardless so let’s make it an enjoyable time!

Marielis Gomera

Hi friends, my name is Marielis Gomera and I am the SGA secretary for the 2023-2024 school year. I am a current student at Guttman majoring in Liberal Arts and Sciences. I hope students see me as a friendly face on campus so they can feel free to communicate their needs and wants on campus. Guttman provided a space for me to thrive socially and academically, and I am excited to be part of a team that will aim to do the same for this upcoming class. This will be a great year!

Jonathan Erazo

Hello, my name is Jonathan Erazo, I’m currently an SGA senator. A little bit about me is that I’m from The Bronx, born and raised. I enjoy walking and playing Minecraft. My favorite food is baked mac and cheese and fried chicken with collard greens.

Gianna Fernandez

Hi, I’m Gianna Fernandez, an active student leader on campus. I am majoring in Business Administration and am an SGA senator for the 2023-2024 school year. As the president of the Stonewall Club, I am dedicated to helping students feel comfortable and included. My goal at Guttman is to help provide opportunities for student engagement and advocacy. I’m deeply committed to helping students thrive socially and academically, alongside an amazing team of student leaders. I’m looking forward to the upcoming term and meeting our new Grizzlies!
