Altice is offering Altice Advantage Internet program for students in public schools and high schools.
You may qualify for Altice Advantage Internet if you or a member of your household is eligible for or participates in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP); or a New York City resident and attends a New York City public school; or eligible for or receives Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and 65 years of age or older; or a veteran and receive state or federal public assistance.

Comcast is connecting low-income families to home internet.
Internet Essentials is a starter program that provides families and other low-income households in-home internet and more to stay connected. New Internet Essentials customers will receive two free promotion months of internet service if you apply and are approved by December 31, 2020. After promotion, regular rates apply. Internet Essentials current rate is $9.95 per month plus tax unless you disconnect your service. For all new and existing Internet Essentials customers, the speed of the program’s internet service has increased to 25 Mbps downstream and 3 Mbps upstream.
You may qualify/eligible for Internet Essentials:
- If you are eligible for public assistance programs such as the National School Lunch Program, Housing Assistance, Medicaid, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), National School Lunch Program or Head Start Program, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Women, Infants, and Children program (WIC), Veterans Pension (VA PensioLive in an area where Comcast Internet service is available and have not had Comcast Internet in the last 90 days
Xfinity WiFi hotspots are included with Internet Essentials. Xfinity WiFi is a network of hotspots that allow you to connect to the Internet on the go, all while saving on your wireless data plan.

Eligible families can receive an Emergency Broadband Benefit that will provide a discount of up to $50 per month on internet services and a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute $10-$50 toward the purchase price. Who is Eligible?
A household is eligible if one member of the household:
- Qualifies for the Lifeline program;
- Receives benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision, or did so in the 2019-2020 school year;
- Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year;
- Experienced a substantial loss of income since February 29, 2020 and the household had a total income in 2020 below $99,000 for single filers and $198,000 for joint filers; or
- Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating providers’ existing low-income or COVID-19 program.

Spectrum makes it simple for qualified households to sign up for low income internet services. Eligible low-income households can receive discounted 30 Mbps high-speed internet, along with Security Suite and an internet modem, at no additional charge.
The Spectrum Internet Assist Program provides reliable, high-speed internet access at an affordable price for those who qualify:
- One or more members of your household must currently receive assistance under one of the following programs: National School Lunch Program (NSLP), Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) of the NSLP, Supplemental Security Income (For Applicants 65 + Years of Age).
Spectrum Internet Assist requires no contracts, and as always, there are no data caps or hidden fees. This offer is not available to current internet subscribers.

Xfinity WiFi hotspots across the country will be available to anyone who needs them for free – including non-Xfinity Internet subscribers. For a map of Xfinity WiFi hotspots, visit www.xfinity.com/wifi. Once at a hotspot, consumers should select the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available hotspots, and then launch a browser.
